Still Time to Tell us your Thoughts on Responsible Dog Ownership
Chelmsford Borough Council's Cabinet Member for Parks and Heritage, Councillor Christopher Kingsley is encouraging more people to take part in a consultation aimed at creating a Code of Conduct for responsible dog ownership at Hylands Park: "We are seeking the feedback of all park users, whether they are dog lovers or not. It is important to capture a range of views as the park is used in a number of ways by residents and visitors. Potential restrictions will only apply to around three per cent of the park where humans, vehicles and animals are in close contact."

Chelmsford Council Receives Prison Application
Chelmsford Borough Council has now received a planning application from the Ministry of Justice for a new 1500 person training prison on the site of the former Runwell Hospital, Runwell Chase, Runwell, Wickford, Essex, SS11 7XX.
