Hire facilities at CSAC
CSAC can offer a range of hiring options, including athletics facilities, a meeting room, studio and sport hall
At CSAC, our indoor sprint straight and track and field facilities can be hired by any organisation or individual, provided they meet all criteria (especially with athletics).
You can also make use of our coaching for schools.
You will need to make sure you are familiar with our coaching policy before you use our facilities.
Our outdoor facilities boast a floodlit 8-lane, synthetic, all-weather 400m outdoor track with a full range of field event facilities, including an external cage where you can throw discus and hammer.
When you hire our facilities, your session will last for a maximum of two hours, when you'll have access to the track and field area (both floodlit and non-floodlit) and the indoor sprint straight.
You can only throw discus and hammer from the external cage.

The sports hall at Chelmsford Sport and Athletics Centre is capable of mixed simultaneous use and available for hire on a casual and block booking basis.
We offer space for a wide range of activities to be played, including:
- badminton
- basketball
- table tennis
- 5-a-side football
- trampolining
- indoor bowls
Our sports hall can also accommodate conferences, craft fairs and exhibitions.

Studios hire is available at Chelmsford Sport and Athletics Centre (CSAC) for sport practices or meetings.
Our two studios spacious studios, one ground floor and one first floor, have air conditioning, sprung floors, and electrical points.
You can also hire conference equipment on request, including a projector and flip chart at an additional cost.
