Following the fire at Highlands Farm in East Hanningfield on Friday 24 July 2026, we are co-ordinating advice and offering support to the affected residents and businesses, as well as people living nearby. You can view our Latest Emergency Information page for full details.
Register a vulnerable resident
If you would need extra help to evacuate in an emergency, we can add you to our register.
You can also register someone else on their behalf, but you will need to get their permission first.
To register, you will need:
- your name, address and contact details
- the reason why you are registering
- your date of birth
Once we receive your registration, we will:
- add you to our register within five days
- contact you to confirm we have added you
If we add to you our register, you can ask us for sandbags if there is a risk of flooding at your property.
