Early start for collections

Due to the high temperatures predicted for Tuesday 1 July 2025, we will begin collections at 6am instead of the normal 7am start time. This is to minimise the effect this weather could have on our collection crews.

Special collections

We offer four types of special collection.

Large item collection We can collect large items from outside your home, including sofas, fridge freezers and sheds.
Clinical waste collection We can arrange a free clinical waste collection for you, provided by our supplier, Medisort.
Assisted collections If you can't move your bins, bags and boxes to the boundary of your property, you can request a free assisted collection service.
Incontinence waste collections We provide a free weekly incontinence waste collection service, for items such as incontinence pads.
