PCN scams

You will only receive a PCN as a physical ticket on your vehicle or a letter to the registered keeper address associated with the vehicle. We will never send you a text or email about a PCN. Any texts you receive about PCNs are a scam and you should never click on any links they provide.

Parking fines (PCNs)

We issue parking fines called Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs). You can either pay them or challenge them in writing. 

Pay a parking fine You can pay a parking fine online, over the phone, in cash or by cheque.
Challenge a parking fine You can only challenge a parking fine online or in writing.
Bus lane and bus gate enforcement This is administered by Essex County Council.
