Booking system maintenance
We will be carrying out some essential maintenance to our booking system from 10.30pm on Tuesday 16 September until 6am on Wednesday 17 September 2025. This means you will be unable to make or amend bookings during this time. We apologise for any inconvenience.
Scuba diving holiday course
At our fun Scuba diving courses, children the learn basics of scuba diving in our pool and even get to complete exciting aqua missions!
Dive into our exciting scuba diving course at South Woodham Ferrers Leisure Centre (SWFLC).
This fun session will show children aged 8 to 16 the basics of scuba diving under the watchful eye of the Orca Scuba Academy Diving instructors.
This course starts in the classroom with a safety briefing, and then it’s off to the pool!
We will only be running this course at SWFLC for the October half term holidays.

You can't pay for this course using Childcare vouchers and we cannot offer discounts on this course, as it is run by an external provider.
- Children will need to bring swimwear and a t-shirt to wear in the water.
- Parents and guardians will need to sign a medical statement before children can participate.
- Please read our pre-course information before booking and attending the course.
- If you have not booked and paid for a session, you will not be able to attend.
- Please arrive five minutes before your child's course is due to start.
- If attending Riverside, you will need a £1 coin to use the locker.
