Request a payment arrangement for your Council Tax

There are a few ways you can pay your Council Tax. You can:

• pay by Direct Debit

• pay your Council Tax online

• spread your payments over 10 or 12 months

If you pay by Direct Debit, you must pay on either the:

• 1st of the month

• 8th of the month

• 15th of the month

• 25th of the month

Request a payment arrangement

You can request a payment arrangement for your Council Tax if:

• you can’t pay your Council Tax monthly

• you can’t pay your Council Tax on either the 1st, 8th, 15th or 25th

• you have missed some of your Council Tax payments and can’t bring your account up to date

To request a payment arrangement, you will need:

• your Council Tax account number

• your name

• your address

• your phone number

• your email address

When we receive your payment arrangement request

When we receive your request, we will send you a letter to confirm we have approved it.

If we can't approve your payment arrangement request, we will contact you by phone or email.
