Planned maintenance

We are carrying out maintenance work on our online system for Council Tax, Benefits and Business Rates.

This maintenance will take place from Monday 20 April at 8:30am to Tuesday 21 April at 5:30pm. This maintenance may prevent you from accessing your account.

If you’re struggling to pay your Council Tax, you can find out how we can assist you. We may be able to spread your payment out over a longer time.

If you are behind with your Council Tax payments You can contact us if you're struggling to pay your Council Tax or are behind with your payments.

If you received a summons Find out what to do if you received a summons.

Deductions from your earnings or benefits If you have failed to pay Council Tax arrears and we have issued a liability order, we can take deductions from your earnings or your benefits.

Enforcement agents (bailiffs) If we have asked the court to grant a liability order for missed Council Tax payments, enforcement agents (bailiffs) can act on our behalf to collect payment.

If we are unable to collect your Council Tax arrears If we have been unable to collect the arrears and all other options have been exhausted, we can take enforcement actions if necessary.
