Request a payment arrangement for your Council Tax
There are a few ways you can pay your Council Tax. You can:
- pay by Direct Debit
- pay your Council Tax online
- spread your payments over 10 or 12 months
If you pay by Direct Debit, you must pay on either the:
- 1st of the month
- 8th of the month
- 15th of the month
- 25th of the month
Request a payment arrangement
You can request a payment arrangement for your Council Tax if:
- you can’t pay your Council Tax monthly
- you can’t pay your Council Tax on either the 1st, 8th, 15th or 25th
- you have missed some of your Council Tax payments and can’t bring your account up to date
To request a payment arrangement, you will need:
- your Council Tax account number
- your name
- your address
- your phone number
- your email address
When we receive your payment arrangement request
When we receive your request, we will send you a letter to confirm we have approved your arrangement.
If we can't approve your payment arrangement request, we will contact you by phone or email.
