If you decide you do not want your brown bin anymore, you can ask us to take it away via our contact form. Alternatively, you can phone us on 01245 615800 to make your request.
We will not collect garden waste for anyone who does not have a subscription.
What to do with garden waste if you are not subscribed
You can buy a subsidised compost bin from Essex County Council. However, you don't have to buy a compost bin. Instead, you can make your own from scrap wood or other materials.
You can also take garden waste to any of Essex County Council’s recycling centres.
