Athletics holiday courses
Ready, set go! Our fun athletics holiday courses teach children the basic concepts of running, jumping and throwing.
The indoor and outdoor athletics tracks at Chelmsford Sport and Athletics Centre (CSAC) offer a fantastic range of athletics courses during the school holidays.
Two-day junior athletics (age 5 to 7)
This fun course will involve teaching children the basic concept of agility, balance and co-ordination developing into the disciplines of running, jumping and throwing.
Two-day athletics camp (ages 8 to 12)
Our training camp offers professional athletics performance coaching, delivered by experienced instructors and tailored to your child’s age. Children learn to improve their skills in sprints/block starts, long jump, high jump, hurdles and endurance running. Children will also learn exercises to help improve their fitness and sharpen their skills.
Workshops (age 8 to 14)
Our intensive three-hour workshops focus on one of the three disciplines in either running, jumping or throwing and will teach children the core skills of each discipline.
