Adult ice skating lessons
At Riverside Leisure Centre you can learn to pirouette and glide around the ice in a fun and relaxed environment, with our adults only ice skating lessons.
Whether you're a complete beginner and would like to learn the basics, or whether you're trying to perfect your technique, our adults-only skating lessons will suit you.
Our lessons follow the British Ice Skating (formerly NISA) approved Skate UK programme.
Lessons will run every week for 30 minutes per lesson in the Riverside ice rink. You'll be in a small, friendly class of people with a similar ability, aged 16 and over. Our expert teachers will guide you through your lessons, while you make new friends in a community environment.
Our lessons run continually throughout the year and when you apply, you'll be able to enjoy a host of amazing benefits, including:

During the school holidays we also offer a week-long intensive aimed at beginners. You will come everyday for the week and learn the basics.
We hold lessons every Wednesday night, from 7pm to 7.30pm
The cost is just £42.70 per month Direct Debit, for weekly lessons.
All our adult ice skating places are full and we are currently not accepting new applications.

If you want to use a locker, you will need a 50p coin to release the key. You will get the 50p back when you return the key.

There are individual changing cubicles as well as group female and group male changing areas available.
