Important changes to Business Rates
In the Autumn 2025 Budget, the government announced changes to how Business Rates are calculated, which will affect your future bills. They have also applied a Transitional Relief Supplement to all bills, but some businesses will not have to pay it. You can find a full explanation of the Transitional Relief Supplement.
Paperless billing for Business Rates
If you want us to email you when your Business Rates bill is available to view, instead of writing to you, you can request paperless billing.
To request paperless billing for Business Rates, you will need:
- your name, address and contact details
- your Business Rates account number
Once we receive your request, we will:
- acknowledge your request within five working days
- send you an email every time you have a new bill
