Businesses and other non-residential properties now need to separate and recycle certain types of waste. You can find out more about the Simpler Recycling rules.
Due to the high temperatures predicted for Tuesday 1 July 2025, we will begin collections at 6am instead of the normal 7am start time. This is to minimise the effect this weather could have on our collection crews.
Waste collection services for business
We can collect your business waste up to five days a week. You can also arrange additional collections through our dedicated Customer Services Team.

If a bin is not suitable for you, we also provide a prepaid waste sacks service. You can buy a roll of 20 sacks for £87, which includes collection.
As a local authority, waste collections with us are VAT exempt.
All prices are valid from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026.
What you can put in your bin
You can dispose of your non-recyclable waste in your residual waste collection.
This includes:
- animal waste
- bubble wrap
- box strapping
- dirty packaging
- nappies
- polystyrene
What you can't put in your bin
There are some items that you can't put in your residual waste, including:
- recyclable materials
- batteries
- electrical items
- liquids
- oil
- paint
