Local Validation List: 2024 Consultation
The Local Validation List sets out the documents you will need to submit with your planning application. We have recently reviewed and updated this. The majority of the changes relate to the statutory introduction of Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) from 12 February 2024.
The consultation is open for six weeks, from 10am on Thursday 15 February 2024 to 4pm on Thursday 28 March 2024.

If you have any comments to make on the proposed list, you can submit these by:
- emailing town.planning@chelmsford.gov.uk
- writing to Development Management, P.O. Box 7544, Civic Centre, Duke Street, Chelmsford, Essex, CM1 1XP
You will need to quote ‘Local Validation List Consultation’ and relevant section headings or page numbers on any comments you send to us.
We also require your name and address, otherwise we cannot consider your comments.
