Our website uses different templates to display content, depending on what the aim of the content is.

These templates ensure that the presentation of our content meets our design principles, and displays content accurately and consistently.

There are five page templates. All templates use the same header, footer and navigation and follow the tone of voice and style guidelines.

Header

The header is the same on every page, and includes:

  • our corporate logo, which is a link to the homepage
  • screen reader functionality
  • a search box

These provide a consistent approach, regardless of the section the customer is in.

Footer

The footer is the same on every page, and includes:

  • an A to Z of our services
  • contact details, including online, phone and address
  • links to our social media
  • links to standard online polices

These provide a consistent approach, regardless of the section the customer is in.

Navigation

Each template has:

  • a breadcrumb trail
  • ‘Also in this section’
  • a contact box
  • the ‘Is there something wrong with this page?’ report form

These orientate the customer within the site, and help them find their way to other sections.
