Sessions at Tower Gardens

In these sessions, children can prepare for life on the road at our Cycle Skills Circuit at Tower Gardens.

Parents need to stay with children for all sessions.

Balance Bikes

Come and try our balance bikes, a great introduction to learning to cycle. Be guided by our expert instructors through your first steps of learning to ride. We can provide balance bikes and helmets, but feel free to bring your own.

The sessions are suitable for pre-school children, aged from two to five.

Gain some expert advice on how to stop those wobbles and learn techniques to take away and continue to improve your cycling.

The sessions are suitable for school children, aged from 5 to 16 years old, and you will need to bring your own bike and helmet.

Bikeability Level 1

Aimed at children who can already cycle, these sessions will help you improve your skill and learn how to cycle safely in a traffic-free environment.

Sessions at SWFLC

We will also be offering learn to ride and balance bikes sessions at South Woodham Ferrers Leisure Centre on Thursday 2 April. Our special smoothie bike will also be available.

Both sessions will be available during the following slots:

  • 9.30am to 10.30am
  • 10.45am to 11.45am
  • 12pm to 1pm
