Cycling holiday sessions
Children can get to grips with two wheels at our cycle skill sessions.
In these sessions, children can prepare for life on the road at our Cycle Skills Circuit at Tower Gardens.
Parents need to stay with children for all sessions.
Balance Bikes
Come and try our balance bikes, a great introduction to learning to cycle. Be guided by our expert instructors through your first steps of learning to ride. We can provide balance bikes and helmets, but feel free to bring your own.
The sessions are suitable for pre-school children, aged from two to five.
You can:
- book a Balance Bike session for Monday 30 March (9.30am to 10.30am)
- book a Balance Bike session for Tuesday 31 March (9.30am to 10.30am)
Learn 2 Ride
Gain some expert advice on how to stop those wobbles and learn techniques to take away and continue to improve your cycling.
The sessions are suitable for school children, aged from 5 to 16 years old, and you will need to bring your own bike and helmet.
You can:
- book a Learn to Ride session for Monday 30 March (10.45am to 11.30am)
- book a Learn to Ride session for Tuesday 31 March (10.45am to 11.30am)
Bikeability Level 1
Aimed at children who can already cycle, these sessions will help you improve your skill and learn how to cycle safely in a traffic-free environment.
The sessions are suitable for school children, aged from 5 to 16 years old, and you will need to bring your own bike and helmet.

- book a Bikeability session for Monday 30 March (11.45am to 1pm)
- book a Bikeability session for Tuesday 31 March (11.45am to 1pm)
