Our Annual Report and Statement of Accounts includes information about the employees who are earning a salary of over £50,000 for the current financial year.

Chief Officer Pay

Overall the Council has a total of 26 managers who fall within the definition of ‘Chief Officer’ with an average salary of £89,922 using the full-time equivalent salaries of their posts.

However, the average salary using actual pay (as some work on a part-time basis) equates to £86,461.

Relationship between pay/pay multiple

The ratio between the highest paid officer and the Council’s median remuneration for staff on permanent contract based on full-time equivalent is approximately 7.3:1.

However, calculating using existing annual salary makes it 7.52:1.
