Explanation of terms

• Expected: this is the number of meetings a Councillor was supposed to attend
• Actual: this is the number of meetings a Councillor actually attended
• Total: this is a Councillor's total attendance, expressed as a percentage
• Apologies not sent: this means the number of meetings where the Councillor has not informed Democratic Services of their absence before a meeting
• Meetings appointed to: this is the number of committees that a Councillor sits on
• Other attendance: this refers to meetings a Councillor has attended not as a Committee member (such as an opposition member attending the Cabinet, a local ward member attending Planning Committee or attendance at a working group meeting)
