Report an abandoned trolley
We investigate complaints of abandoned shopping trolleys in public areas or on private land, where the owner of the land agrees to their removal.
To report an abandoned trolley, you will need:
- your name, address and contact details
- information about where the trolley is located
- any further information that you think is relevant
- photos or evidence of the problem, if you have it
How we deal with abandoned trolleys
Once we receive your report, we will contact the relevant supermarket to get ask them to collect the trolley.
If the supermarket does not collect the trolley within 24 hours, we can take action against them or remove the trolley.
