Green Dog Walkers scheme
Our Green Dog Walkers scheme (GDW) is a non-confrontational and friendly way to change attitudes about dog fouling. We want volunteers who live in Chelmsford to support our scheme, helping to make Chelmsford a cleaner place.
You can sign up to join our GDW scheme by agreeing to a pledge:
- wear a badge as often as possible when you walk your dog
- always clean up after your dog and dispose of the bag in a bin
- carry extra dog bags and provide them to others who may need them
- act as a friendly reminder to other dog walkers to clean up after their dog
If you choose to join the scheme, we will give you a welcome pack that includes a:
- welcome letter with a copy of the pledge
- badge showing that the dog owner is a Green Dog Walkers member
- roll of poo bags in a dispenser
To become a member, you should complete the online pledge form.
You will receive your welcome pack within 10 working days.
