We are aware of a technical issue with the speed of our Public Access website and are working to resolve it as soon as possible. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

You can search for TPOs, using:

  • the TPO reference number
  • the parish the tree is in
  • the ward the tree is in
  • the address of the tree

Trees in conservation areas that are more than 7.5cm in diameter at 1.5 metres above the ground have protection, as if they have a TPO.

However, some trees in conservation areas also have a specific TPO attached to them. If your tree has a specific TPO, these conditions will apply, rather than the more general conservation area order.

You can also view and comment on provisional orders.
