Play in the Park for children aged 0 to 11 years

Join our Play Workers during the Easter and Summer holidays for sports, arts, crafts, games, and free-play. Selected sessions will have extra activities such as bouncy castles, face painting and reptile handling.  Extra activities are denoted with a star* on the programme.

  • All children must register at the beginning of each session.
  • Please pre-register your child(ren) to help speed up the registration process on the day. Pre-registration does not guarantee a place on Play in the Park and closes at 4pm on the Friday before each session.
  • Children aged under 6 must be accompanied by an adult who will support the child's participation
  • Children aged under 8 must be dropped off and picked up by an adult. A password will be required
  • Please ensure your child wears suitable clothing for playing games, that they bring a drink and that they are prepared for any weather

New! PITP for kids aged 12 to 16 years

Do your children struggle to find things to do during the long school holidays? New this year! Our PITP Workers will be at various venues throughout the Easter and summer holidays to offer active and creative activities exclusively for children of secondary school age. Some sessions could include extra activities based around urban sports, dance and fitness. Meet, chill, draw, play, laugh and create.

Visit the PITP webpage for dates, times and venues

All Play in the Park and PITP sessions are supervised by qualified and experienced staff, all of which have received a satisfactory CRB check.

Most activities will be based outside. Marquees and gazebos will provide shade and shelter if the weather is very hot or if there is persistent rain. Indoor areas will be used for some activities if available.
