Royal Mail delays

Our addressing team work closely with Royal Mail, who are currently experiencing delays due to a recent system update. They are currently taking up to five weeks to add addresses on to Postcode Address File (PAF) instead of the usual four working days. This is also having a knock-on effect on how quickly they respond to our requests, and is not something we can control. We apologise for any inconvenience.

You can use our address database to check the address we have listed for your property.

Nothing selected yet or no results.

What to do if your address does not appear on Royal Mail

The Postcode Address File (PAF) is Royal Mail’s address database. You can search Royal Mail’s postcode finder to find a postal address.

If your address or postcode is not recognised, Royal Mail may not have activated your postcode. This applies if you live in a new property or have received street naming and numbering confirmation.

You can contact Royal Mail to report an incorrect or missing address.

Other problems with your address

You can contact us if:

  • Royal Mail has confirmed they do not hold your address
  • you believe we have listed your address incorrectly
  • you want to update an address with new company information
