Our addressing team work closely with Royal Mail, who are currently experiencing delays. They are taking up to three weeks to add addresses on to Postcode Address File (PAF) instead of the usual four working days. This is also having a knock-on effect on how quickly they respond to our requests, and is not something we can control. We apologise for any inconvenience.
Charges for street naming and numbering services
Creation of new streets and properties
Street: £200 per street
1 to 5 dwellings: £65 per property
6 to 25 dwellings: £60 per property
26 to 75 dwellings: £55 per property
76 dwellings or more: £50 per property
Change to new address due to development changing after we have issued the schedule: £50 per hour
Changes to existing streets and properties
Change of address and/or house name: £45 per property
Add or remove an alias name to or from a numbered property: £25 per address
Division of property: Same as numbering of new properties (based on number of properties created, including the original)
Issue of address following demolition and reconstruction: Same as numbering of new properties (based on number of properties created, including the original)
Other charges
Providing written confirmation of current/historical addressing information: £25 per address
These charges are not subject to VAT.
