Chelmsford Museum, The Essex Regiment Museum and Sandford Mill have now closed until further notice.
We are keeping up to date with guidance from the Government, and will let you know when we are able reopen.
Sandford Mill is a science education centre. We are not usually open to the public, and are not currently holding any open days.
From April to October we usually offer schools brilliant hands-on science sessions at this unique learning centre. You can find out more about our learning sessions.
The site houses our large industrial collections which can be viewed on our open days.
