We have two sites you can choose from, both offering exciting and engaging sessions for school-aged children.
Chelmsford Museum, in Oaklands Park, offers a wide range of cross-curricular sessions. Your class can explore topics including history, maths and art. You can opt for a museum-led session, or we can offer free resources to support self-led visits.
Sandford Mill, our science education centre, is set in extensive grounds by the River Chelmer. This site offers hands-on physical and natural science sessions from April to October half term.
If you would like to bring a group for a general visit, such as a scout pack, you can contact us to make an enquiry.
