Slow Looking in the Shifting Perspectives exhibition with Catherine Chastney (Family Friendly)
Come and spend some time with just a few pieces in the museum in one of our relaxed guided looking sessions. In each hour-long session you will be invited to look closely, avoid distractions, share ideas with others, and form your own understanding of items on display.
One free adult per child, additional adults pay the museum admission fee of £4 unless they hold a membership.
- 12-1pm: Family-friendly session in the Shifting Perspectives exhibition - this session is particularly suitable for families with children aged 2-6 years old.
- 2-3pm: Family-friendly session in the Shifting Perspectives exhibition - this session is particularly suitable for families with children aged 7-11 years old.

Catherine is an art educator who helps people to look at art closely. She loves to find stories about artworks and guides people in exploring with her. Catherine will encourage you to sit down, take a good look, ask questions and form ideas. There are no wrong answers, just opportunities for conversation.
