Oi! It's the Easter Holidays!

Oi kids! Oi grown-ups! Come stomp and explore,
Where dinosaurs rule and there’s fun galore!
Inspired by Kes Gray and his dino delight,
We’re painting, crafting, and digging all right!

This Easter school holidays, we're getting inspired by the 'Oi Dinosaur' book by Kes Gray. Join us for dinosaur puppet making, digging for fossils, and even making your own alternative to an Easter egg... a dinosaur egg! You'll be able to add your own cave paintings to our cave, and inspect real fossils from our collection to see how they measure up against a dinosaur. 

Activities are suitable for ages over 5 to 10 years old. All children must be accompanied by an adult, who can attend for free, including entry to the museum.

Admission: One free adult per child, additional adults pay the museum admission fee of £4 unless they hold a membership.

Whilst you’re there, enjoy the family-friendly exhibition ‘Oi Chelmsford! Kes Gray: Chelmsford Born and Read’ in the temporary exhibition gallery, with other fun items to find in the Toys gallery, Costume gallery, and Victorian Hall.
