Oi! It's Half Term!

Oi kids! Oi grown-ups! Come join the fun,
At a half-term event that’s second to none!
Inspired by Kes Gray, who grew up right here,
We’re bringing his books to life with a cheer! 
Dress up like a goat, pull splinters from frogs,
Sit on spaghetti, or balance on logs! 
Craft, colour, and giggle your way through the day,
In a world full of rhyme, the Kes Gray way!

Activities are suitable for ages over 5 to 10 years old. All children must be accompanied by an adult, who can attend for free, including entry to the museum.

Admission: One free adult per child, additional adults pay the museum admission fee of £4 unless they hold a membership.

Whilst you’re there, enjoy the family-friendly exhibition ‘Oi Chelmsford! Kes Gray: Chelmsford Born and Read’ in the temporary exhibition gallery, with other fun items to find in the Toys gallery, Costume gallery, and Victorian Hall.
