Creative Portrait: photography workshop
This event is part of Always Proud an outreach project by Essex Pride and takes place at Meadows Shopping Centre, 42-47 High Street, CM2 6FD.
The aim of this workshop is to support in the creation of content for Behind the Rainbow an exhibition to tell LGBTQAI+ stories through their eyes and voices. Co-created with Chelmsford Museum.
James is an experienced Freelance Photographer, co-owner of Blue Sky Printing, and founder of the Essex Photography Prize.
This workshop is aimed at individuals who want to learn how to create unique and authentic portraits that express the beauty and diversity of the LGBTQ+ community. These workshops often cover topics such as lighting techniques, posing, styling, etc.
You will create some fun backgrounds together, and you can bring props, outfits, and anything that will help you capture your essence and helps tell your story.
This workshop is free and there are only 12 spaces, so if you book and you can't attend, please free the space so someone can take your place.
You need to be 18+ to be part of this workshop.
