As a standard, all Chelmsford City Council staff receive a 20% discount in our shop. This is available all year round on items on display in the shop whenever you visit.
The below rates and offers do not have the staff discount available, however we think the prices are just as tempting!
January Sale
The following items are reduced for staff only. Why not start stocking up for those 2023 special occasions (even Christmas!), or treating yourself to something a bit different?

You can make your purchases using these steps:
- Have a look through our pictures and the list of prices, and see if anything takes your fancy.
- Contact our friendly, helpful team on museumassistants@chelmsford.gov.uk to check on availability. They will take your contact details and reserve your item(s) on a first come first served basis and confirm the price.
- Visit the Museum Gift Shop where your item(s) will be kept for you to pay and collect. Please make sure you take along your staff ID card, as this offer is just for you.
- Enjoy your new purchase!
This offer is available until Sunday 19 February. All purchases must be paid for and collected by this date. The museum is open Monday to Sunday from 10am to 4pm, so you have plenty of time to collect your shopping. However, stock is limited so be quick at reserving what you’d like!
