Main responsibilities

The Marketing and Customer Services Manager is responsible for:

- The best practice delivery of sales, marketing and communications across all service areas and activities

- Working with service areas to produce sales and marketing plans that deliver the budgeted sales for events

- Community engagement , events and initiatives

- The Council's communications strategy

-liaising and working with the BID and the wider City in promoting Chelmsford as a destination centre marketing

- The Council's outward focussed leisure events such as Fling and 3Ft People festivals amongst others

- Corporate hospitality sales through the commercial external booking of the Council's various meeting rooms
