Making a welcome return to the Cramphorn Studio are the very entertaining electric ukulele band D’Ukes.
Performing styles of music to suit all tastes, D’Ukes skill in reinterpreting songs using only the ukulele (with a hint of percussion and plenty of humour!) amazes audiences.
Formed in Chelmsford, D’Ukes have been entertaining audiences for over a decade and are one of the longer lasting ukulele bands in Essex. Their repertoire suits all tastes and ages and with their great vocals, slick solos and exciting rhythms they will get the audience singing, dancing and smiling. They have sold out theatres, played major festivals including CarFest & Cambridge Rock, performed on both BBC and community radio, made TV appearances on Big Brother and Come Dine With Me, performed at ukulele festivals in both the Czech Republic and Poland and performed alongside some of the bigger names in the international ukulele world!
This will be D’Ukes 9th appearance at the Cramphorn Studio and their previous shows have sold out quickly so early booking is advisable. D'Ukes are Brian Smith; Dave Warren; Hazel Smith; Jo Kerr; John Mattock and Martin Burdikin.
