Le Mans '66 (12A)

Monday 23 March 2020 7.30pm

It’s 1963 and Motor Company giant Ford offers to buy cash-strapped Ferrari as a way to boost sales by participating in the 24 Hours of Le Mans Race of 1966. Outraged, Enzo Ferrari walks out on the deal, as another big company, Fiat offers him a better deal that allows him to retain his ownership of Scuderia Ferrari. Furious and red-face, Ford orders his racing division to build a super car that will defeat Ferrari in the race. For this he enlists Shelby (Damon), an American racing driver who was forced into early retirement due to a heart defect and Miles (Bale), an unpredictable British race driver and struggling mechanic with anger issues. To build a revolutionary car they must put their differences and personal demons aside and dare to defy the law of physics. High-octane semi-biographical action-packed film.
