Welcome back to Chelmsford City Theatres!

Our team has worked hard to put everything in place to keep you safe as you enjoy our theatre. 

You can find out everything that you will need to know about measures we have put in place on this page. 

When you arrive

• Please note, the theatre is currently closed to the public unless visiting for a performance. only and the building is closed to the public (unless a performance is on)

• We will be monitoring your temperature on arrival. 
• You will be asked to check in using the NHS Test & Trace QR code 
• Our Front of House staff will scan your tickets at the door

Seating

• The current Government roadmap indicates that from 21 June, we can remove all social distancing measures

Cleaning

• We will be increasing the level and frequency of cleaning around the theatre
• You will be able to use our touch-free hand sanitiser stations throughout the theatre

Face Coverings

• The current Government roadmap indicates that from 21 June, we will no longer require you to wear face coverings around the theatre. However, you are free to continue wearing one if you feel more comfortable doing so 
  

Food and drink

• You will be able to purchase food and drink during the interval

Other safety measures

• We will still have our one-way systems for ease and there will still be signage to help you around the theatre
