We know many of you have been waiting to hear about our panto plans this winter...
We’re excited to announce that Sleeping Beauty will go ahead at the Civic Theatre between 27 November and January 3 as long as government restrictions allow.
It will be a COVID-secure production with only 30% of the seats in the auditorium used for performances and there’ll be a special seating plan to allow households of different sizes to sit together. A range of other measures, such as one-way systems and extra cleaning between shows are also planned to keep you safe when you visit us.
Although things will be a little different this year, we’re sure you’ll still have lots of fun. The script has been written by CBeebies actor and presenter Chris Jarvis and we can’t wait to get started.
Theatre staff will be contacting everyone who booked tickets for Sleeping Beauty earlier this year to allocate seats according to current COVID-19 restrictions. So, if you already have tickets there’s no need to call us because our box office will be in touch directly.
Once places for existing bookings have been filled, all remaining tickets will go on sale and we’ll give you plenty of warning about this.
Anyone will be able to have a full refund at any point, if you wish.
More details to come later this week on our website and social media pages.
