Little Baddow Neighbourhood Plan consultation
About Neighbourhood Plan consultations
Town and parish councils, or other organisations, can take the lead in creating neighbourhood development plans, community plans and orders for planning in their area. We will help to create the plans, and make decisions at key stages.
Little Baddow Neighbourhood Plan
Little Baddow Parish Council has developed a draft Neighbourhood Plan for the parish and formally submitted it to us.
It covers the whole of the parish, and includes planning policies on the environment, village character, development, open space and transport.
Once adopted, it will become part of Chelmsford’s Local Plan.
Consultation on the Regulation 16 stage has now closed. You can still read the submission documents:
- Little Baddow Neighbourhood Plan
- Basic Conditions Statement
- Consultation Statement
- Equalities Impact Assessment
There are also two evidence documents. These provide helpful background information and were used to inform the draft Neighbourhood Plan.
You can also find additional evidence listed at the end of the Submission Plan.
Examination
We have appointed an Independent Examiner to examine the Little Baddow Neighbourhood Plan. The Examiner is Andrew Mead BSc (Hons) MRTPI MIQ.
We have sent all the Submission Documents and the comments we received to the Regulation 16 Consultation to the Examiner, who will decide whether the Little Baddow Neighbourhood Plan should proceed to referendum.
If we hold a public referendum in the area covered by the Neighbourhood Plan, and more than 50% of people vote ‘yes’, we will adopt the plan.
We have published all the comments we received on our Consultation Portal in accordance with the Data Protection Act and General Data Protection Regulations.
Examination Correspondence
We will publish all correspondence relating to the Independent Examination on this page when it is available.
