Chelmsford City Council is inviting residents to a special Christmas service at Chelmsford Crematorium.
The Christmas Memorial Service will be held at the crematorium on Sunday 10 December from 2pm. The service will take place in the South Chapel and will include Christmas carols and songs. Names of loved ones will be read out in a candle-lit act of remembrance.
An offering will be taken for Farleigh Hospice and J’s Hospice and seasonal refreshments will be served in the North Chapel. All are welcome to attend and those requiring a seat are advised to arrive early.
Councillor Susan Sullivan, Cabinet Member for Safer Communities said: “This is such a wonderful opportunity for us to remember the loved ones that we have lost and we want to encourage residents to join us at the service.”
