This fantastic temporary exhibition showcases a selection of works depicting landscapes, from the collections at Chelmsford Museum.

Landscapes in Art Exhibition Chelmsford Museum

The exhibition includes work by: 

  • John Nash (1893 - 1977). A British painter, wood engraver and illustrator. He spent his later years living in Essex. 
       
  •  Lynton Lamb (1907 - 1977). An English artist, illustrator and lithographer. Lamb spent his retirement in Sandon, near Chelmsford. 


  •  CA Mellon (1876 - 1955). He was known as East Anglia's L.S. Lowery. 


  •  Edward Bawden (1903 - 1989). An English painter and illustrator. He was born in Braintree.
