Chelmsford Museum, The Essex Regiment Museum and Sandford Mill have now closed until further notice.
We are keeping up to date with guidance from the Government, and will let you know when we are able reopen.
The Essex Regiment Museum tells the proud story of the county infantry regiment.
The displays include the Essex Regiment exhibition and the Essex Yeomanry exhibition. Our military artefacts include weaponry, medals and uniforms, plus pieces such as the Salamanca Eagle and the famous oil painting of the 'Last Stand of Gundamuck'.
The military collections are loaned to us by the Trustees of the Essex Regiment Museum.
The Essex Regiment Museum is located within Chelmsford Museum.
