Chelmsford Creatives x British science festival

The British Science Festival is coming to Chelmsford in 2020 – and we’re looking for local 16 to 24 year olds to help shape the festival. You’ll work with other young people to produce and deliver an event that combines arts and sciences for a world-class festival.

You don’t need any particular skills or experience to take part, just a passion or interest for arts or sciences. Joining Chelmsford Creatives is a great way to gain experience in science, art and heritage, project or event management, team working and communication.

Chelmsford Creatives meet once a month on Saturdays, 11am to 2pm. Food is provided at all meetings and travel expenses can be reimbursed.

If you, or someone you know, are interested fill in enquiry form or email  Sammy.Oxford@chelmsford.gov.uk for more information.

About the British Science Festival:

Each year the Festival brings free events to an adult audience, which are packed with exciting opportunities to get involved. Our programme bursts with a variety of different types of events, from talks to workshops, museum takeovers to parties and stuff you wouldn’t necessarily expect to see at a ‘science’ festival such as yoga, life drawing and artistic performances. Events span a diverse range of subjects that encompass science in the broadest sense, promising something for everyone.

This year the Festival is hosted by Anglia Ruskin University in Chelmsford, Essex on the 8 to the 12 September 2020.
