Chelmsford, let’s leave no-one behind.

What is Digital Discovery?
This year, the pandemic has highlighted how important digital resources are to help us stay connected. We have relied heavily on the internet while staying home. Many everyday activities have moved online, from shopping and banking, to meetings, doctors’ appointments and virtual events.
However, have you ever stopped to think about how normal digital activities may not always be accessible to those living with disability?
Digital Discovery reminds people how digital activities are not always accessible to people with disabilities and how we can improve this. We are asking organisations and individuals to take a pledge to leave no-one behind and create an inclusive digital community in Chelmsford.
We must make sure that online tools are accessible for everyone, and together we can work to not leave anybody behind.
How can you get involved?
Over the coming weeks, we will be sharing stories, advice and resources around online accessibility. This will all help to give us a greater understanding and to make us more aware of the issues. All in the lead up to the Digital Discovery Day on Tuesday 9 February.
We will share all information and resources right here on our website and through our Facebookpage.
