We hold Play in the Park sessions during the Easter and summer school holidays, for children aged between 3 and 11.
Children can join our Playworkers to play, create and take part in fun activities at a park near you. Some sessions also feature special extras such as parkour, reptile handling and scooter lessons.
Each two hour session consists of sports, games and crafts.
To keep up to date, you can sign up to our mailing list, or like our Facebook page.
All children must be registered, before taking part in any activities. You can register in advance or on the day.
If your child is:
- under six, they must be supervised by an adult parent/guardian throughout the whole session. One adult can supervise a maximum of three children during a session.
- under eight, they must be dropped off and picked up by an adult. The adult will need to set up a password with us and provide the same password when collecting the child.
- over eight, they can come and go without an adult, but they must provide any relevant medical information and emergency contact details when they register.
Your child will need suitable clothing for playing games, and be prepared for any weather. They will also need to bring a drink with them.
If your child wishes to leave a Play in the Park session, a play worker will call you on the emergency contact number you have provided. If your child decides to leave of their own accord, play workers are not allowed to use physical force to ensure they stay.
You can download the Summer Play in the Park 2018 Programme for details on the venues, their locations and facilities, plus the extra activities.
