We hold regular and one off led circular walks throughout the Chelmsford area, through our Heart and Sole programme.
You can choose from a number of walks, each taking place on a different day during the week and catering for all levels of ability.

complete a paper form when you arrive at your first walk. If you want to complete a paper form, you will need to arrive ten minutes before the walk is due to start.

You can also volunteer to become a walk leader.

You can benefit greatly from regular 30 minute walks, if you walk at a fast pace but are still comfortable to hold a conversation.
From reducing blood pressure and cholesterol, to improving stamina, muscle strength and the immune system, we welcome everyone on our Heart and Sole Walks.
Securing the future of Heart and Sole
We used to receive sponsorship to cover the cost of running our Heart and Sole walks, however this sponsorship has now ended.
To make sure we can continue the Heart and Sole scheme in the future, we have formed the Friends of Heart and Sole. The Friends are a group of volunteers who will be looking for ways to secure funding to help keep the scheme going. They will also act as a steering group to influence how the scheme develops.
