We have a range of fun and exciting sessions in our main pool and learner pool.

Main pool

Family Fun session with floats: bring down the family to a fun splash session with floats and toys in the main pool (variable depth). This session also includes the flume (height restrictions apply).

Family inflatable fun: one hour session which includes a large inflatable in the 2m side of the pool and small inflatables and floats in the moveable floor side of the pool. The flume will also be open. A safety talk and swim test will be carried out by the Lifeguard team before users are allowed on the inflatable.
School Holiday Inflatable Fun: twin track pool inflatable for 8 years +

Learner Pool

Musical splash with toys and nursery rhymes: a fun and relaxed session in the learner pool with your toddler.
Family Fun session with toys for under 8 years: make a splash with small floats and toys in the learner pool. This session also includes the splash zone and the flume (height restrictions apply).
Sensory Fun session: a multi-sensory experience in the learner pool with a variety of engaging lighting and projection effects fully controlled by you.

Booking

You will have to book fun sessions in advance online or via the app
or by calling 01245 615050
Each individual customer must have their own ourChelmsford account to book.

Shoes

The pools complex, including the changing area, is a shoe-free zone. This includes flip flops.

Safety

To keep everyone safe, we operate adult to child ratios and maximum capacity at our swimming pools.

Children that are seven years and under can’t use the pool by themselves.

A person 16 years or over can accompany:

One child that is under four years
Two children that are under four years if they are wearing buoyancy aids, such as armbands or a float suit
Two children that are between four and seven years.

Swimming with children

Swim nappies

Children who usually wear nappies, must wear a swim nappy in the pool. You can purchase these from reception for £1.50 each.

Baby changing

The group changing areas have baby changing facilities available.

Entrance

Family Fun

You will purchase a ticket for either the main pool session, or the learner pool session. Wristbands will be issued on the day for the learner pool.

Inflatable fun

A wristband will be given after the swim test has been completed.

Lockers and changing rooms

There are individual cubicles, a male group changing area and a female group changing area.
A Changing Places area and accessible changing facilities are available.
If you want to use a locker, you will need a £1 coin to release the key. You will get the £1 back when you return the key.
