What to expect when you visit

To keep staff and customers safe, there are some changes to how we operate:

Booking

• You must  book a badminton, table tennis or basketball session in advance on the website or via our app 
• If you have not booked in advance, you will not be able to use the centre
• Booking limits apply ( terms and conditions).

Sessions

• All sessions will be for 55 minutes  
• For badminton and table tennis, overs 18s can play single or doubles with people in the same household only. 
  
• Those in disability groups can play with members of other households. 
• Under 18s can play in groups and organised sessions and receive one to one coaching.
• You will need to bring your own rackets and shuttlecocks, or basketball, with you.
• For Basketball, under 18s only and those in disability groups will be able to play with people in the same household or support bubbles and with members of other households. 
• Up to 4 people can play at one hoop, and up to 6 people on a full court.
• Following the governments guideline, over 18s will not be able to play basketball until Monday 17 May.
• You will not be able to use the water stations, please bring your own bottled water.
• Social distancing should be observed at all times wherever possible.
  

Face coverings

• You will need to wear a face covering inside our leisure centres whenever you aren't exercising, unless you have an exemption.  Find out more about face coverings.
• We recommend that you do not wear a face covering during exercise. Please leave it with your possessions during your activity.

Showers and changing rooms

• You will not be able to use the changing rooms, please come ready for your session 
• There will be no lockers available, just bring yourselves
  
• Toilets will still be available on the ground floor

Cleaning

• We will be cleaning in between sessions
• We will provide hand sanitiser and there will be cleaning stations around the centre for you to use before and after your session

When you arrive and leave

• Before you arrive, you can download the NHS COVID-19 app. You can open the app and scan the QR code displayed at the entrance to the centre on arrival.
• The entrance will be split in two, please go in on the left hand side
• You should only arrive 5 minutes before your session time to avoid queuing congestion.

• If you arrive early for your session, please remain in your car
• Follow the signs and one-way system around the centre to get to and from your activity
• You will exit directly through the fire door behind court 2 and turn right to walk around the outside of the building to get to the car park
• Please exit the centre promptly after your session

Monthly Members

• You will need to book a session in advance
• You will need to check in for your session at reception
• If you do not check-in, we will charge you the full amount for the session
  
• Please make sure that you have registered your email address with us in order to book online.
