If you have a degree or are graduating this year, our Graduate Scheme will give you the opportunity to gain experience in the public sector.
We advertise the Graduate Scheme throughout December and January. During this period, you can view and apply for the Graduate Scheme on our current vacancies page.
If your application is successful, we’ll invite you for an assessment day in February.
The Graduate Scheme lasts for one year, from September to August.
The Graduate Scheme is based on project work, and you’ll complete at least two different placements during your time with us. This gives you valuable experience and the chance to find out more about the variety of services we provide.
Graduates take an active role in the Council, through organising and participating in training and events.
When you join our Graduate Scheme, you will receive:
a salary of £18,996 per annum
