Nordic Walking is easy to learn and a very sociable way to exercise in the outdoors making it a great accompaniment to the regular Heart and Sole health walks.
Jane Leary is a qualified instructor who leads weekly sessions in the beautiful surroundings of Hylands Park. Jane will guide, support and encourage you to enjoy exercising in the fresh air. Learn how to feel the benefit of using lightweight walking poles to enhance your walking workout.
Walks take place every Wednesday:
- 10am - a brisk 60 - 75 minute walk. Stride out in the company of friends and enjoy a walk and talk.
It costs just £5 to take part in a session and poles can be hired for an extra £1. Participants should wear supportive walking shoes or trainers, and come prepared for changing weather conditions. Bring a drink too!
Meet at the Writtle Gate entrance car park, where toilets are available. No previous experience is necessary, so come and join us!
