'Kool Kids' is an indoor adventure area at Riverside Ice and Leisure, that is full of fun and adventure for children up to the height of 1.5m or 4'10" to enjoy. This information is valid from 1 April 2010 to 31 March 2011.
Three storeys high, the Kool Kids area is packed full of slides, ball ponds, climbing areas, obstacles and soft play. There is even a separate area for the under three's only. Adults accompanying their children can join in the fun at quiet times.

Kool Kids has a number of promotional events running throughout the year including Meet Santa.
1. Opening Times Open 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday and 10am to 6pm, Saturday and Sunday.
Kool Kids sessions are 1 hour in length.
2. Supervision Trained staff are easily recognisable in their Kool Kids uniform. Kool Kids supervisors are in the area to monitor the use of the equipment and to help the children enjoy themselves. Whilst happy to be of assistance, they are not child minders and the accompanying adult is responsible for the children in their care.
3. Crawling to 3 years
Safe and secure, there is a special place set aside for the under three's only. This area is not only a fun place to explore but provides a valuable learning experience for young children as well. Children can play on the puzzle mat or with the soft play characters, they can climb the ramps and steps and then slide gently into the large ball pond. The whole area is self contained and totally separate from the rest of the play area.
4. 3 to 11 years (up to1.5 metres)
The ultimate in play areas, with three levels of fun for the children to enjoy and experience. Children can try the Spiral Slide which goes from top to bottom, they can crawl through the tunnels, fight their way past giant penguins and through hanging vines, squeeze past rollers or dare to cross the rope bridge. There are hours of fun to be had in this place of adventure that even the weather can't spoil.
5. Cafe
For mums, dads and children, there is a café available for refreshing drinks, snacks or meals. The café is an ideal place for parents to relax whilst still keeping an eye on their children in the play area.

7. Rules of Play
- Maximum height for admission is 1.5 metres (4'10").
- Maximum age is 11 years.
- Children may only use the facility whilst in the charge of an adult.
- We advise that long sleeves and trousers are worn on the apparatus.
- Socks must be worn.
- No shoes, badges or jewellery to be worn within the play area.
- No smoking in this area and throughout the whole Centre.
- Please store buggies in the buggy parks provided.
- If a child is feeling unwell or has an injury then they should not use the facility
- The supervision of the child remains the responsibility of the accompanying adult at all times.
Birthday Parties are also available for Kool Kids. Riverside Ice and Leisure reserve the right to alter any details listed at any time without prior notification.
